MISSION STATEMENT
Maintain and improve the quality of life in Colchester through the protection of the evironment, promotion of intelligent land use, and the promotion of building and fire safety. Provide assistance to the public, commissions and fellow employees to promote the public safety, health and welfare through code and regulation enforcement, implementation of the Plan of Conservation and Development, and support to the land use boards and commissions in fulfillment of their statutory and other responsibilities.
