The First Selectman's office is actively seeking a Colchester resident
to fill a vacant alternate position on the town's Zoning Board of
Appeals.
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is a 5-member body responsible for
hearing appeals from individuals who are requesting variances to the
regulations before development of a parcel begins or who are appealing
an order or decision by a zoning enforcement official. ZBA members are
appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a five-year term and commit to
one regular meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
