The First Selectman’s office announced today that the “2009 Colchester Land Use Summit: A Community Perspective for Conservation and Development”, which was attended by elected officials, members of Colchester’s land use boards and commissions, local organizations, state agencies, local farmers, and interested citizens, will be airing on Comcast public access on the following dates:
- Thursday August 6th at 3 PM
- Monday August 10th at 3 PM
The goal of the summit, which took place on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at the Colchester Town Hall from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., was to bring together all of the entities involved in Colchester’s land use to: (1) review information about where we are; (2) highlight how each entity contributes and is an important part of the overall picture; and, (3) discuss current initiatives to identify areas of strength as well as those that need additional focus.
